A holding company for apps

We build apps, then lay siege until they win.

IdeaSiege doesn’t acquire products. We originate them. Every app in our portfolio is conceived, designed, engineered and operated by our own team, and held for the long run.

Approach

Most apps don’t win on launch day. Ours don’t get to quit.

  1. 01

    Spot

We start from a problem we can see clearly, not a trend. If nobody on the team would use it, we don't build it.

  2. 02

    Build

A small in-house team ships a focused first version fast. Design, engineering and growth sit under one roof.

  3. 03

    Siege

Few apps win at launch. We iterate on real usage until the numbers move, or we shut it down honestly and move on.

  4. 04

    Hold

Apps that work stay in the portfolio for the long term. We build to own and compound, not to flip.

Portfolio

What’s inside the walls. Mostly still under siege.

Most of our apps are still in the workshop. Here’s what’s on the bench right now. Names go public when the products earn them.

  • 01In development

    Consumer

    Codename Bastion

Unannounced. In active development with a small in-house squad.

  • 02Private beta

    Productivity

    Codename Rampart

Unannounced. Core loop built, now iterating on retention.

  • 03In development

    Utility

    Codename Keep

Unannounced. Early prototype being pressure-tested with users.

  • 04

    Next idea

There’s always another one on the whiteboard. Most don’t make it past week one. That’s the point.

Principles

How we think when nobody’s watching.

  • Build, don't buy

Every app is ours from the first commit. We know each product down to the last line of code.

  • Few people, high leverage

Small teams with full ownership move faster than big ones with handoffs.

  • Evidence over opinion

We ship, measure and let users settle arguments that meetings can't.

  • Patient capital, impatient execution

We give products years to compound and give ourselves days, not months, between iterations.

  • Kill fast, commit hard

Saying no to a weak idea early is what lets us go all in on the strong ones.

  • Craft is the baseline

Fast is not an excuse for sloppy. People notice quality, even when they can't name it.
